1. Job description:
- Quality control of the room and assigned area.
- Directly inspect room quality according to the checklist and current hygiene standards (A25).
- Identify hygiene, setup, and safety issues; instruct staff to rectify and redo the room that does not meet requirements.
- Rooms that do not meet quality standards will not be handed over.
- Record and report any errors promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Supervise and manage personnel in the assigned shift/area.
- Monitor employees' adherence to regulations, work procedures, conduct, and service attitude.
- Promptly remind and correct cases of violations of regulations.
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping Supervisor in evaluating probationary staff and conducting periodic performance reviews.
- Shift work coordination
- Perform assigned tasks as directed by the Housekeeping Team Leader.
- Monitor the progress of room preparation; proactively report any potential delays, staffing shortages, or other issues that may affect room handover.
- Assist in coordinating staff during shifts to ensure work progress and quality.
- Participate in on-site training and mentoring.
- Guide new employees and underperforming staff according to the department's SOP and checklist.
- Provide reminders and re-guidance when recurring errors occur.
- Coordinate with the Head of Housekeeping to compile the results of the practical training.
- Manage supplies and tools within your area of responsibility.
- Control the use of supplies, chemicals, tools, and equipment to ensure they are used for the intended purpose, within the specified limits, and in accordance with regulations.
- Promptly detect and report any cases of damage, misuse, or loss.
2. Authority
- Instruct staff to redo the room if it does not meet the standards.
- Propose temporarily suspending guest access to a room if it is found to be substandard or unsafe; report this to the Housekeeping Team Leader/Branch Management.
- Propose additional training, rotation, or reinforcement of personnel based on actual needs.
- Expertise: Thorough understanding of housekeeping operations, hygiene standards, procedures, and room inspection checklists.
- Skills: Field supervision, work coordination, on-site guidance and training, problem-solving.
- Qualities: Responsible, disciplined, honest, able to withstand work pressure, cooperative spirit, and a sense of responsibility for protecting property.
3. Job requirements:
- Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Housekeeping Team Leader in hotels of 2-3 stars or higher.
- Preference will be given to candidates with professional hotel management certifications.
- Ages 23 and above
- Proficiency in using office computer software and the ability to develop monitoring and workflow processes is an advantage.
4. Benefits:
- Salary ranges from 13 to 26 million VND. Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
