HUONG PAGODA - HUONG TICH CAVE

Huong Pagoda, also known as Huong Son, is a vast cultural and religious complex in Vietnam, comprising dozens of Buddhist pagodas, several temples dedicated to deities, and shrines for agricultural beliefs. The heart of Huong Pagoda is located in Huong Son Commune, My Duc District, Hanoi, along the right bank of the Day River.
DETAILED ITINERARY:
08:00-08:30: The bus and tour guide will pick up guests at the designated meeting points in the Old Quarter and Hanoi Opera House to depart for Huong Pagoda.
10:00: Arrive at Yen Vi Wharf, where the bus stops, and guests transfer to a boat to travel approximately 3km along Yen Stream to Thien Tru Pagoda (Heaven’s Kitchen). Along the way, guests can enjoy the majestic mountain scenery with 99 peaks resembling elephants, the Sticky Rice Tray Mountain, the Rooster Mountain, and more. Upon arriving at Thien Tru Wharf, guests will offer incense, pray, and visit Thien Tru Pagoda.
12:00: Lunch at a local restaurant.
13:00: The tour guide will arrange cable car tickets and guide guests to take the cable car to Huong Tich Cave. The cable car ride takes about 15 minutes. Upon arrival, guests will visit Huong Tich Cave, where Lord Trinh Sam once visited and personally inscribed five Chinese characters on the cave entrance: "Nam Thien De Nhat Dong" (The Most Beautiful Cave in the South). This scenic spot is dedicated to worshiping Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva.
Note: If guests are physically fit, they can choose to hike for approximately 1.5 hours to Huong Tich Cave and return to the Thien Tru Pagoda area (however, the tour guide will not accompany the group during the hike).
15:30: Return to the wharf, where guests will take a boat back to Yen Vi Wharf to board the bus back to Hanoi.
18:30: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the program, farewell, and see you again!
Tour Price Includes:
- Air-conditioned tourist bus for transportation as per the itinerary

- Electric shuttle at Huong Pagoda: 10,000 VND/guest/one way
- Round-trip cable car ticket: Adults (>130cm): 220,000 VND; Children (110cm-130cm): 150,000 VND
- Drinks during meals and other personal expenses not mentioned in the tour
- Tip for the boatman at Huong Pagoda, minimum 25,000 VND/guest (due to the unique nature of the Huong Pagoda tour, we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation)

Children:
- Children aged 1-4 years are free of charge (parents cover all related expenses; no seat on the bus). Two adults can bring one free child; any additional child will be charged 50% of the tour price (includes half a meal portion and a separate seat on the bus).
- Children aged 5-9 years are charged 75% of the tour price (includes a separate meal and seat on the bus).
- Children aged 10 years and above are charged the adult price.
Note: If one adult travels with one free child, the child must purchase 50% of the adult tour price (includes half a meal portion and a separate seat on the bus. Any additional entrance fees at attractions are to be covered by the family).
