DETAILED ITINERARY:
- 07h00: The car and tour guide pick up guests at hotels in the Old Quarter, the Opera House, and Gate No. 1 of the National Convention Center to depart for Mai Chau (Hoa Binh).
- 09h00: Stop for a rest break in Luong Son - Hoa Binh.
- 10h00: Stop at Thung Khe Pass to take photos and admire the majestic mountains and forests of Hoa Binh.
- 11h00: Guests arrive at Lac Village for a traditional local lunch (Guests needing vegetarian meals must notify us in advance to be arranged). Take a rest.
- 13h00-15h00: The local guide takes guests on a walking tour to discover the daily life of the Thai people in Pom Coong Village, Lac 1, Lac 2, or guests can explore Mai Chau valley by electric car (rental cost is self-funded) for a tour around the 8 villages of Mai Chau, visiting the charming stilt houses of the Thai people to learn about their unique culture. The guide will take guests to visit brocade shops, learn how the Thai people weave brocade, and purchase souvenirs. Afterwards, guests are free to bike, walk, shop, and take photos.
- 15h30: Bidding farewell to Mai Chau, guests board the car to return to Hanoi.
- 19h00: The car takes guests back to Hanoi. End of the program. See you again!
Tour Price Includes:
- Air-conditioned tourist car transfer according to the program.
- 01 lunch at a stilt house in Lac Village.
- Tour guide service throughout the route or a local guide (depending on the number of guests on the departure day).
- Drinking water served in the car, 01 bottle of 500ml per person per day.
Not Included:
- VAT invoice.
- Cost of electric car in Lac Village (250k/car/8 guests).
- Beverages during meals, in the hotel, and other personal expenses.
- Cost of renting a bicycle or electric car to visit the villages.
- Travel insurance (due to the nature of the daily join-in tour).
Children Policy:
- Children from 1-4 years old are free of charge (parents cover all expenses for the child, the child does not occupy a seat in the car).
- Children from 5-9 years old are charged 75% of the tour price (receive a separate meal portion but sleep in the same bed as parents).
- Children 10 years old and above are charged the adult price (receive adult standard services).
Guests Should Note:
- Guests must bring legal personal identification (ID Card or Passport).
- Guests should bring: insect repellent, common cold/fever medication, toothbrush, toothpaste, and a private towel if necessary, as living conditions in mountainous areas are often limited compared to large cities.
- The tour guide reserves the right to rearrange the order of the sightseeing spots to suit the specific conditions of each departure day, while still ensuring all scheduled attractions are visited.
- If the number of guests on the departure day is 06 or less, we may not arrange a guide to accompany the car but will arrange a local guide in Mai Chau.
- Guests who are vegetarian are kindly requested to bring their own vegetarian food to ensure their taste preference.
- Guests registering for the tour during the period from April to November each year should bring light, cool clothing.
- In all cases, it is best for customers to bring a backpack or small-sized suitcase. Especially, oversized suitcases are not allowed because medium or small-sized tours in mountainous areas do not have compartments for large luggage. We are not responsible if guests bring oversized luggage.
