F&B Director

1. Job Description

1. Strategic Business Planning & Management

  • Develop and implement the overall business strategy for the Food & Beverage (F&B) division.
  • Prepare detailed financial and cost plans for the F&B department.
  • Monitor and control departmental budgets to ensure efficient use of financial resources and compliance with approved plans.

2. Human Resources Management & Training

  • Develop the organizational structure and workforce plan aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and supervise employee training programs to ensure premium service standards.
  • Organize and oversee internal training initiatives for the department.
  • Build a strong succession pipeline by identifying high-potential talents and developing future leaders.
  • Establish KPIs, conduct regular performance evaluations, and recommend fair reward and disciplinary actions.

3. Service & Product Quality Management

  • Continuously collect and analyze guest feedback, implementing improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly review menu structure, food quality, and product offerings to meet evolving customer expectations.

4. Operations & Process Management

  • Directly supervise daily restaurant and F&B operations.
  • Review, evaluate, and optimize existing operational procedures.
  • Develop and improve streamlined, practical, and efficient workflows to enhance operational effectiveness and communication.

5. Safety & Asset Management

  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and fire prevention requirements.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Manage and safeguard departmental assets, equipment, and operating supplies

2. Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an F&B Director in a 4-star hotel or higher, or equivalent hospitality establishments.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven capability in team leadership, coaching, and driving innovation.
  • Outstanding negotiation and communication skills.
  • Fluent English proficiency.
