Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park Tour
Introduction
Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park is a national park in Vietnam, located in Bo Trach and Minh Hoa Districts, Quang Binh Province. It lies approximately 50 km northwest of Dong Hoi City and about 500 km south of Hanoi. To the west, the park borders Hin Nam No Nature Reserve in Khammouane Province, Laos, and it is approximately 42 km from the East Sea to the east, measured from the park's boundary.
Phong Nha – Ke Bang is part of an extensive limestone karst region covering approximately 201,000 hectares within Vietnamese territory. The adjoining limestone region in Laos covers approximately 200,001 hectares. The national park's core zone covers 85,754 hectares, surrounded by a buffer zone of 195,400 hectares.
NIGHT 1: HANOI – PHONG NHA

22:00: The tour bus and guide will pick up guests at the meeting point at 160 Tran Quang Khai Street (the pick-up location may vary depending on the departure date, with advance notice provided). Depart for Quang Binh Province.
Guests will travel overnight on a sleeper bus. Several rest stops will be made along the way.
DAY 1: PHONG NHA – MOOC SPRING – DONG HOI
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
06:00: Enjoy breakfast at a restaurant in Phong Nha, followed by time to rest and relax.
08:00: The tour guide will escort guests onto a boat for a journey upstream along the Son River to Phong Nha Cave, also known as the Wet Cave.
Renowned for its outstanding natural beauty, Phong Nha Cave is one of the signature attractions of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang World Heritage Site. It is recognized for seven outstanding criteria by the British Cave Research Association. The cave is also the only cave in Vietnam featuring an underground river that is currently open to tourism.
Enjoy a boat ride through the first 1.2 km of the underground river before continuing to explore Bi Ky Cave, Tien Cave, and Cung Dinh Cave.
11:00: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant.
After lunch, the bus will take the group to Mooc Spring Eco-Tourism Area, located within Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. This is one of the most popular destinations for water-based recreational activities in Quang Binh.
Emerging naturally from the foot of the mountains, the crystal-clear, refreshingly cool stream winds its way through lush, pristine forests. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities, including kayaking, bridge jumping, ziplining, and swimming. Alternatively, they can stroll along wooden walkways, admire the flowers, and listen to the soothing sounds of flowing water and birdsong.
The fresh air, stunning natural scenery, and joyful atmosphere make Mooc Spring a must-visit destination for groups of friends, families, and companies seeking a memorable eco-tourism experience.
Please note: Entrance tickets and recreational activity fees at Mooc Spring Eco-Tourism Area are not included in the tour price.
Afternoon: Transfer to Dong Hoi City and check in at the hotel. Enjoy free time to relax or swim at Nhat Le Beach.
19:00: Dinner at a restaurant. The evening is free for guests to explore Dong Hoi at their leisure.
Overnight in Dong Hoi.
DAY 2: DONG HOI CITY TOUR – FREE TIME AT THE BEACH
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Morning: Guests may choose to visit the beach early to experience the cool, peaceful atmosphere of the sea at sunrise. Return to the hotel for breakfast.

DAY 3: QUANG PHU SAND DUNES – VUNG CHUA – HANOI
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
05:30: Gather at the vehicle and depart for Quang Phu Sand Dunes. Enjoy sightseeing, take memorable photos, admire the sunrise over the sea, and try sandboarding (at your own expense).
07:00: Return to the hotel to freshen up, rest, and enjoy breakfast. Guests may also spend some free time swimming at the beach.
08:00: Depart for Hanoi. Along the way, the group will stop at the following attractions:

Gianh River Victory Monument: Take commemorative photos at the monument and learn about the historical significance of the Gianh River, which once divided Dang Trong (the southern realm) and Dang Ngoai (the northern realm), as well as the Luy Thay defensive fortifications built by the Nguyen Lords during the Trinh–Nguyen conflict.

Vung Chua – Yen Island: Visit the resting place of the late General Vo Nguyen Giap.
11:00: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Ha Tinh City. After lunch, continue the journey to Hanoi.

Children's ages are rounded up to the next year. Children under 12 months old are counted as one year old.

A child is considered X years old until the day before their Xth birthday. On their Xth birthday, they are considered to have reached the age of X.

Tips for the driver and tour guide:

Guests who are satisfied with the service provided by the driver and tour guide may offer tips at their discretion. Tipping is entirely optional; however, the customary minimum amount is approximately VND 50,000 per person per day.

For international guests, the standard tip is USD 3 per person per day.

Children's policy
Please read the following conditions carefully to understand the applicable children's rates and services.
- Children aged 1–4: Tour services are complimentary, but a vehicle seat surcharge applies in accordance with current road traffic regulations governing the maximum passenger capacity for each vehicle type.
Important: Parents are responsible for any additional expenses incurred for their children. Each group of two adults may bring one child aged 1–4, with the second child and any additional children charged at 80% of the adult tour price.
If one adult travels with one child aged 1–4, the child must also pay 80% of the adult tour price and will receive the applicable children's service package.
- Children aged 5–9: Charged 80% of the adult tour price. The price includes meals, children's admission tickets where adult admission tickets are included in the tour, and a dedicated vehicle seat. However, for tours lasting two days or more that include hotel accommodation, children must share a bed with their parents.
- Children aged 10 and above: Charged the full adult tour price and receive the same inclusions as adults.
Important notes regarding children's accommodation

Children booked at the children's rate are not entitled to a separate bed at the accommodation and must share a bed with their family.

If two or more children are traveling together, they must still share sleeping arrangements with their family.

Children requiring their own bed must be booked at the full adult tour price.

If the tour includes sightseeing admission tickets but a child must purchase an adult ticket because their height exceeds the attraction's specified limit, parents must pay any ticket price difference directly to the tour guide.
Other general notes

All guests must carry valid identification documents, such as a Citizen Identity Card or passport. Children under 14 must carry at least a birth certificate, while children aged 14 and above must carry a Citizen Identity Card or passport.

Guests are advised to bring basic medication, including remedies for diarrhea, colds, and fever.

Vegetarian guests are encouraged to bring additional vegetarian food to ensure their dietary preferences are accommodated.

No refunds will be provided for unused tour services unless the non-use results from a fault attributable to the tour organizer.

The tour guide reserves the right to rearrange the sightseeing sequence according to the conditions on each departure date, provided that all attractions listed in the itinerary are still included.

If the number of guests on a departure date is 10 or fewer, or if the tour operates using a 4-, 7-, or 16-seat vehicle, the driver may also serve as the tour guide. These drivers are experienced in conducting tours.

- Health and medical conditions: Customers are solely responsible for their own health and well-being under all circumstances. Customers are required to inform the tour organizer of any personal medical conditions, where applicable, so that appropriate health-related advice can be provided for the specific tour they have booked.
- Personal belongings: Customers are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings at all times and in all locations throughout the trip. The tour organizer shall not be held liable for any loss of money, valuables, flight tickets, or other personal property belonging to customers during the trip.
